BMBF project for development of a new laser system for generating 3D ellipsoidal laser pulses
In the framework of an Russian-German collaboration, a new laser system providing 3D ellipsoidal shaped laser pulses shall be developed. This system will produce electron beams of better quality and thus allow to further decrease the electron beam emittance.
